Heinrich Müller
Director
Mr. Müller is a mining executive and professional geologist with experience across the resources value chain. Through operational, leadership and consulting roles in South America, Southern Africa, Europe and North America, he has been part of multi-disciplinary teams leading private and publicly listed companies and executing a range of projects including greenfields and advanced resource projects, feasibility studies, open pit commissioning and operational production management.
Mr. Müller is VP Technical for Bravo Mining, a Canadian listed company developing South America’s largest PGM project. Previously, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Jangada Mines Plc, a London listed junior exploration company, leading the business from pre-IPO until flagship asset disposal. He has held various roles of responsibility within Anglo American Platinum including Executive Director of Anglo Platinum Brazil and Managing Director of Pedra Branca Minerals, a Joint Venture company co-owned by Anglo American and Solitario Zinc (New York and Toronto listed).
JC le Grange
Project Manager
Mr. Le Grange is a professional geologist with over 12 years experience in exploration and operations. He has worked on projects in Southern and Central Africa, the Middle East and Europe with project and production level experience in coal, PGM, copper, cobalt, iron ore, titanium, vanadium, and mineral fertilisers. He was previously the Mineral Resource Manager for Ilangabi Coal, the coal production subsidiary of Brikor, and has held various field exploration, management and consulting roles for MINROM, Fugro, Gecamines, and Expetra.
Scott MacIntyre
Engineering Associate
Mr. MacIntyre has 25 years of experience in the engineering, mining and built environment space. He is the managing director of an EPCM consultancy firm, LMJ Consulting, of which he was a founding partner 15 years ago. He holds a BTech in Civil and Geotechnical Engineering and is registered as a PMP with the PMI in the United States. Scott has lead a number of large mining, processing, civil engineering, commercial and residential development projects and has National, African and International work experience.
Peter van Dorssen
Mining Associate
Mr. Van Dorssen is a mining engineer with over 40 years experience in various operational roles within the mining industry. He has designed, built and operated conventional and mechanised mines throughout Southern Africa having spent almost 25 years with Anglo American Platinum. He has further in-depth experience in coal, gold and base metals previously working for the Tsumeb Corporation, Rand Mines and building the Black Wattle Colliery. He was responsible for the design and construction of Amplats' first, fully mechanised underground operation, the Waterfall/Bathopele Mine. His core skills include operations and general management, engineering, design and large project implementation, strategy and change management
Jean van der Berg
Exploration Associate
Mr. Van der Berg is a project geologist specialised in resource exploration, drilling, planning and evaluation. He has over 12 years experience across diverse commodities including iron ore, coal, manganese, base metals, chrome and PGM. He has previously worked for Anglo American (Kumba), Lonmin, and Aquila Steel, where he was a senior exploration geologist before joining Geminas.
Christine de Villiers
Industrial Psychologist
Ms. De Villiers is a Registered Organisational Psychologist specialising in Psychometric Assessment and Organisational development. She has over 10 years’ experience in consulting for various organisations in Southern Africa and Australia. She assists mine owners and mining contractors in assessing operators and migrating risks identified through Psychomotor and Psychometric assessments. She also specialises in leadership development, soft skills training and improving operational processes in order to increase team efficiency.
